My husband and I wanted to have a private and peaceful Christmas vacation. The Waterhouse was the perfect place for us to be. The house is positioned so your views out of the many many windows only include the ocean, and the rocky shoreline. On a clear day you can see the Olympic Mountains and Vancouver Island…simply stunning! It was rainy and cold outside, but inside was cozy and comfortable. The house is filled with comfy places to sit and lounge and decorated in a fun, tasteful “shabby chic” style. While the family of orcas that live in the waters near the house were on vacation to warmer waters to the south, Mother Nature visited us everyday through the black tailed deer who grazed on the lawn outside and the sea gulls, and bald eagles who flew by and landed on the rocks. We would stay in this house again and again if our scheduled permitted…it is lovely, private and gorgeous!
